Notre Dame Bell Memorial Charrette!

Friday, September 6th, 2019 from 7-9pm

Worcester Pop-Up

The Save Notre Dame Alliance and the City of Worcester invite the public to participate in an open charrette for a possible Notre Dame des Canadiens Bell Memorial.

We will turn the Worcester Pop-up into a creative space where anyone can contribute their ideas and images.

There are several potential sites - the Worcester Common, the downtown Worcester public library, a small parcel next to the former church site, another downtown location, or, come and submit your own ideas for the location and designs.  Participants will be able to provide ideas and drawings for each.

The ideas and material generated on the 6th will stay up on the walls at the Pop-Up through Tuesday, Sept. 10th.

Everyone is welcome to come down on the 7th and the 10th and see what was submitted and add additional items.  (the Worcester Pop-Up is closed Sunday, Sept. 8 and Monday, Sept. 9)

Free to the public you don't need to bring anything but your ideas!

We will serve light fair and non-alcoholic drinks.

Hanover gifted the bell to the City.  We got the chance to see it in it's current location.

Close up of the writing on the bell.
